Listen Here: Pandora Is All About the Holiday Music

One in ten stations currently being created on Pandora consists of holiday music, according to company spokeswoman Deborah Roth, probably because this is the first year that the service has offered pre-made holiday genre stations, though it experimented with artist-themed holiday stations in the past.

Like it or not, we’ll all hear our fair share of holiday music this year, just like we did last year, and the year before that. Grinches and others complain about being subjected to these same tired tunes over and over again, while others can’t get enough.

Either way, Pandora has you covered with a general Christmas station but also, more interestingly, genre-based stations for holiday music — country, rock, jazz, “peaceful,” folk, and so on — delivering welcome variety to our tired ears during this holiday season.

You can find these stations within Pandora by navigating to the holiday genre — a useful gambit especially if you’re throwing a holiday party this year and don’t want to play the same stuff everybody’s been subjected to at the mall all day. For your holiday convenience, we’ve tracked down direct links to each of Pandora’s holiday-themed stations, allowing you to home in on different Christmas genres or toggle over to the Hannukah station:
