Good Charlotte iPhone App

good charlotte appGood Charlotte released their own official app themed around the group’s latest release, Cardiology, but it failed to set our hearts pounding.

The app’s only streaming music comes from the band’s newest album, without any of the earlier hits fans might expect to be included. You do get a “Motivate Me” game that appears to scan your fingerprint in order to offer motivational tips from the band to get you through your day, but we didn’t find too much else to get excited about.

Good Charlotte’s app, developed by EMI Music, includes the usual integration with the band’s Twitter account, as well as links for upcoming tour dates, late breaking news, and the YouTube channel. But the app just doesn’t include enough to avoid our criticism — and besides, the fingerprint game caused it to crash quite frequently.
